As we approach the 4th quarter of 2014, I am overcome with excitement about what is going on at Star Tex Real Estate. About three years ago, I decided to change the company name from Buda/Kyle Real Estate to Star Tex Real Estate to better serve our neighbors in Austin, San Marcos, Dripping Springs, etc. Then shortly after, I decided my passion for helping others would become a part of my business plan.
At that time myself and the Star Tex agents agreed that 10% of our sales commissions would be donated back to area non-profit organizations at closing. I was nervous to present my idea to my group, but then when every single person agreed to donate their hard earned money without so much as a hesitation, I knew then I truly had a top-notch team of individuals representing Star Tex.
Since July 1, 2012, Star Tex has established excellent relationships with many non-profit organizations specifically Hope & Love 4 Kids, Hays YMCA, Hays Youth Athletic Association, Buda/Kyle Relay for life and Brown Santa. To date as a company we have donated over $20,400 to those organizations. What started as a small dream of mine has become an amazing reality.
I am thrilled to announce 3 additional agents have recently joined our team, as well as an additional office assistant. So now with 7 experienced agents that embody the utmost professionalism and compassion, I am at the edge of my seat anticipating results we’ll see as we wrap up 2014 and head into 2015
